My original query: Good evening, How were the black elements in type RE7 (large size type of 1942) printed? The first I purchased from Richard Friedberg in 2015: The second I purchased from Eric Jackson this past January: And now a third example, found at COMPEX yesterday. COMPEX 2018: I Came, I Saw, I… Was Sorely Disappointed.

I guess they all can’t be great shows. If they were, we wouldn’t appreciate the good ones as much! Sigh. I left the house this morning at 6:30AM for the 3-hour drive up to River Grove, IL.
